Subject Resources
The ‘Subject Resources’ setting in the Configuration Panel, allows Head Office personnel to efficiently manage subject-specific resources such as Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) and Schemes of Work.
Add/Edit Subject Resources: Tab
- Title: Enter the title of the subject. This is a required text input field with a maximum character limit of 50.
- Select Curriculum Course: Choose the curriculum course from the dropdown list. It displays all active 'Curriculum Courses' against the organization.
- Select Status: Choose the status of the subject from the dropdown.
- Active: Indicates the subject is currently in use.
- In-Active: Indicates the subject is not in use.
- Master Entry Details: Plus and cross features for multiple entries.
- Resource Title: Enter the title of the resource. This is a required text input field with a maximum character limit of 200.
- Resource URL: Enter the URL of the resource. This is a required text input field with a maximum of characters limit.
- Select Status: Choose the status of the subject from the dropdown.
- Active: Indicates the resource is currently in use.
- In-Active: Indicates the resource is not in use.
- Buttons:
- Cancel: Discard changes and close the tab.
- Save & Close: Save the entered information and close the tab.
- Save & New: Save the entered information and keep the tab open for adding another subject resource.
Subject Resources List: Tab
- Filter:
- Select Curriculum Course: Displays all active values from 'Curriculum Courses’. Filter subjects based on the selected curriculum course.
- Table Columns:
- Plus button: Enables collapse/expand feature to show the paging table.
- Sr#: Serial number for identification, aligned at the center.
- Resource Title: The title of the resource, aligned to the left.
- Resource URL: Clickable link to open the resource URL in a new browser tab.
- Status: The current status of the resource, aligned at the center.
- Sr#: Serial number for identification, aligned at the center.
- Subject Title: The title of the subject, aligned to the left.
- Curriculum Course: The curriculum course associated with the subject, aligned to the left.
- Status: The current status of the subject, aligned at the center.
- Action: Center-aligned with options:
- Edit: Click to edit the details of the subject resource.
- Delete: Delete the subject resource. (Note: Enabled only if the subject resource is not associated with the Subject Syllabus; otherwise, show a proper error message).
