Manage Syllabus

The ‘Manage Syllabus’ Tab in the Campus Panel's Courses & Batches module, provides a user-friendly interface to admin users for detailed syllabus management. It facilitates the viewing, tracking, and marking of syllabus progress, promoting collaborative efforts among educators. The key features of the Syllabus Management System (STMS) include comprehensive syllabus hierarchy management, real-time tracking, and insightful reporting. This system enables administrators to navigate seamlessly, enhancing syllabus efficiency and supporting informed decision-making.

Overview: Sub-Tab

The Overview sub-tab displays all subjects assigned to the batch if 'Subject Resources and Syllabus' have been attached. It contains three hierarchical levels, each with specific details. Having the following details in it as per the selected Syllabus.

  1. Level 1
    1. Subject Code
    2. Subject title
    3. Subject Teacher
    4. Syllabus completed percentage
  2. Level 2
    1. Topic Title
    2. % Completed/In-Completed
    3. Marked By (if marked otherwise not displayed)
    4. Marked By Date & Time (if marked otherwise not displayed)
  3. Level 3
    1. Sub Topic Title
    2. % Completed/In-Completed
    3. Marked By (if marked otherwise not displayed)
    4. Marked By Date & Time (if marked otherwise not displayed)

Mark Syllabus Status: Sub-Tab

The Mark Syllabus Status sub-tab enables administrators to mark the status of the syllabus. It includes a search dropdown to select a subject and a tree view with checkboxes for syllabus details.

  1. Filter:
    1. Select Subject: Use the search dropdown to select a specific subject which displays all subjects assigned to the batch if 'Subject Resources and Syllabus' have been attached.
  2. On subject selected
    1. Show Tree view with a checkbox of the subject syllabus. Users can check/uncheck the checkbox to mark/unmark syllabus items.

Topic and Sub-Topic mark functionality:

  1. Topic Marking:
    1. When a user marks a topic, automatically mark all associated subtopics.
    2. When a user unmarks a topic, automatically unmark all associated subtopics.
  2. Subtopic Marking:
    1. If all subtopics of a topic are marked, automatically mark the parent topic.
    2. If any subtopic of a topic is unmarked, automatically unmark the parent topic.
